This course will assist those new to the real estate industry in mastering key concepts relative to the professional practice of real estate. In addition, this course is designed to adequately prepare applicants for a real estate license for the various exams required in order to gain license eligibility. Fundamental principles will be presented in detail to ensure competency in the basic principles of real estate. Subjects covered include: the principles of agency and relationships, real estate contracts, contract law and fundamentals, real property ownership, real estate finance, real property descriptions and measurement, property valuation, fair housing and discriminatory prohibitions, advertising and marketing regulations, property management, real estate calculations, title transfer, disclosure, trust and escrow accounts, possible state laws and regulations of which to be aware, as well as other topics relevant to those entering the real estate industry.

Completion of this course satisfies the 60 hour pre-license requirement in order to apply for a real estate license in Alabama.
